I plan on expanding out the site to include career-oriented topics like web sites and social networking, etc. As you mention, WordPress is a fine option for getting started, and many writers find it perfectly adequate. My understanding is that when you get your domain name, you can point it to the free WordPress site and it will appear as if you have your own "paid" site. Keep reading and keep those article ideas coming!
